My interactive sessions work equally well with large assembly scenarios through to class sized groups and smaller more focussed settings. The sessions involve character/world building, mining our own experiences and jumping in to create stories, poems and writing soaked in ourselves.

I draw from my performance background as well as my published novels and poems to demonstrate my messy process of creating work and removing the pressure that held back my own ideas when I was at school.

When the sessions are more focussed, I like to cater the outcomes to the specific group and staff to see what awesome stuff we could do.

I work best with upper primary and all of secondary to sixth form, PRU units and excluded children, but have experience with younger participants and am always up for discussion if you think a specific group might benefit from a session.

“The sessions encouraged creativity and teamwork and a purposeful and engaging environment was established. It was lovely to look around the room and see every pupil enjoying the experience”
