I work with teachers, librarians, pastoral teams and school leaders across a wide range of settings.
Sessions are designed to be accessible to learners with different levels of confidence, literacy and engagement. They do not rely on performance, personal disclosure or prior ability.
This is not a writing test, a show or a therapeutic intervention. It is a structured creative space where young people build a shared story together and find ways into participation through their own choices. Their ideas can then run in whatever direction we choose to explore. e.g. storytelling or writing, poetry, visual arts, role play.
The work is particularly effective in PRUs and alternative provision, mixed ability classrooms, EAL contexts and groups where confidence is fragile.
I work with whole year groups, class sized groups and smaller AP groups in sessions ranging from single hour to longer projects.
